Greencastle, Ind March 27 – The late
Irving Dickens, colored was buried here yesterday afternoon after 103 years of
life. He died from old age in Parke County and was brought to his former home
by his sons, who are themselves grandfathers. Not much of his history is known. - transcribed by kbz
